Ramos Rachel SternA native of Houston, Rachel brings both hometown roots and a wide-lens perspective shaped by early career experience in New York’s fast-paced media world. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Boston University before pivoting to law, where she quickly proved herself as a standout litigator.
At Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, Rachel excelled in trial advocacy. She earned first place in the Trial Advocacy Honors Program Intramural and JEBS Trial competitions. She placed third in the highly competitive San Diego Defense Lawyers Trial Competition. She also received the prestigious CALI Award for Legal Writing II, given to the top-performing student in the class. Additionally, she served as a Teaching Assistant for her Legal Writing professor and was nominated by the law school’s Writing Center, where she supported students in editing and refining legal documents and argumentation.
Rachel began her legal career in personal injury law, where she gained deep fluency in the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. That experience sharpened her procedural precision and courtroom readiness. She quickly carved out a niche in family law, where her blend of tenacity and empathy sets her apart. She now focuses exclusively on representing clients in divorce, custody, child support, and adoption matters, combining tactical skills with genuine client care.
When not in court or advocating for clients, Rachel explores Houston’s culinary scene, dives into a good book, and travels with her beloved French Bulldogs.
