MEET THE JUDGE

Judge Barbara Stalder is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She earned her undergraduate and law degrees from her beloved Alma mater the University of Houston main campus. She has dedicated the vast majority of her career helping the Harris County residents via various nonprofit organizations such as Equal Justice Works, Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse and as the supervising attorney in a local civil clinic.

Judge Barbara Stalder is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and is well known for wearing the team’s gear and even putting up a team Christmas tree during the holidays.

According to the Harris County District Clerk website she has handled 403 Civil/Family cases in Harris County. That said, we are not including cases in other counties or those cases filed under another attorney’s bar number which can be the case when working as an associate.
